Features & Applications:

The cotton filter traps small particulates (dust and soot) from reaching the instrument. The biggest culprit to any combustion analyzer is pump contamination caused by moisture and dirt. The cotton filters keep the contaminants from reaching the pump. They frequently need to be replaced depending on the flue sample. Oil powered furnaces produce way more dirt/moisture than natural gas powered furnaces. Replacement cotton filters are a necessary accessory.
